Best Workplaces in Travel has opened its annual survey for 2026 entries, as the industry scheme marks its fifth anniversary.
Companies across the sector are invited to participate in its employee engagement survey and potentially be recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Travel in 2026.
Organisers claim it is the only employee engagement survey dedicated to the travel industry.
Co-founder Gail Kenny said: “We have already had lots of interest, and companies [are] re-entering again for 2026.”
Best Workplaces in Travel has also refreshed its website, which details how the survey works, the 2025 winners and insights from this year’s poll.
Kenny added: “Attracting and retaining superstars into your travel company is critical to business success.
“This is all about celebrating those travel companies who are getting it right with their people and culture strategy, whilst providing valuable insights on what’s important to their employees.
“If companies want to test the sentiment and understand how truly engaged their people are right now, then they should be involved.”
The survey asks employees what’s important to them, then employees rate their employer about to how their company performs in these areas, and answer several questions, including an employee net promoter score.
Travel companies can then gain access to their insights and benchmark against the industry.
The companies who meet the required criteria will be recognised as a Best Workplace in Travel 2026 and celebrated at an award reception, again to be held by host partner, Grant Thornton in London July 2, 2026.
An early bird offer to enter at last year’s prices is available until December 31, after which 2025 prices will increase slightly to reflect the evolution of the technology and resources.
The current cost of entry is £350 for a small company (between 20 and 49 employees) £550 for a mid-size company (between 50 and 199 employees) and £750 for a large company (more than 200 employees).
